Plaques take time to form so if effective home care is maintained for 3 days out of 7 then dental disease can be controlled.
The core of the building block is the effectiveness of home care skills. Telling, or even showing people how, to floss or brush is meaningless. Like all skills coaching and encouragement is needed if anyone's home care is to become effective.
